G’day

It’s Ian McKenzie here. I am the bloke who put this web site together and who has his picture at the side of each page on the site. You may have deduced from my greeting, that I am not from the USA. I do have several ties with the USA, but I am a born and bred Aussie.

I live in South East Queensland, Australia in a place called Beaudesert shire. It is a beautiful part of the world situated between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Each week however my work takes me any where from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Also, my work fairly frequently takes me to Papua New Guinea, and in the last couple of years I have made trips to the UK, Europe and New Zealand, as well as tripping around the various capital cities in Australia. The USA is on my agenda for next year.

I mentioned that I do have ties with the USA. I have three sisters each of whom are married with families and living in California. Also, the servers and offices for my business Ian McKenzie’s Domains are situated in Arizona in the USA. And, this seems fair! The Internet has made the world a much smaller community, and it did all start in the US.

I have two beautiful daughters, one is a Pharmacist and the other a Doctor. Both at the time of writing are on holidays and tripping around the USA and Mexico.

My apologies in advance if you send me an email and I don’t respond. Like most others I get an horrendous amount of spam email daily. Most of it I delete without opening. And, I have been known on more than one occasion to have deleted emails which I should have opened.

Now, I titled this page “About the boss”. I suppose I was trying to personalize things a bit. But really, I have a web site that tells a lot more about me...., my work history, my qualifications..., and all of that sort of stuff. Just click on my picture at the left and it will take your there.
